Kajiyama: No harm intended

September 30th, 2008

From Brian Kajiyama:

"I appreciate the piece that E:60 produced that shared my life story. However, I was disappointed in any instances which coach Greg McMackin and the University of Hawai‘i program were negatively portrayed. That was not my intention. I appreciate the opportunity that Coach McMackin has provided me to continue being a part of the Warrior ‘ohana. I will continue to remain loyal to the University of Hawai‘i and will do my best in my new capacity."

The Warriors have re-opened the Poly Pipeline, receiving a commitment from George Daily-Lyles.
Daily-Lyles is a 5-foot-11, 220-pound linebacker from Long Beach Poly, the school that produced former UH standouts Michael Carter, Chris Roscoe and Mark Odom.
Daily-Lyles has been compared to Pisa Tinoisamoa and Solomon Elimimian.
Poly is the defending CIF champion. Last month, Poly defeated 2007 national champion Northwestern High (of Miami) in Florida.
As the middle linebacker, Daily-Lyles makes all of the defensive calls for the Jackrabbits.
