The term is used colloquially for any kind of Linkback. This is similar to comment spam but avoids some of the safeguards designed

wow! NCAA record for most sacks. I find that not too surprising. Good news is that there is a quarterback on the roster who has very quick feet and his high school stats show very few sacks in in his senior and junior season season. Under 10, i think and the quarter back before him averaged 6 sacks a game and they had the same line. next year looks hopeful if the right decisions are made. He's been here 2 years so he knows the offense. I'm reserving my # 10 jersey now. GO WARRIORS

Any one who says that game was a suitable end to the season can't be a true fan. In fact, it may have been one of the most embarrassing losses in UH football history.

First of all, let's remember that this isn't your uncle's Notre Dame. This was not Jerome Bettis and Tony Rice out there. I'd like to think that by now, most of football-educated America knows that Notre Dame doesn't have the top notch athletes they once did.

The fact that UH could go out there and give that half-hearted performance against a MEDIOCRE AT BEST team with no momentum and no confidence was absolutely embarassing. Don't get me wrong. I'm not placing all the blame on individual players' efforts (Although let's face it, the entire offensive line could be blamed for a lot fo this).

The amount of mental prep in the time between the end of the regular season and the bowl game is huge. A lot of big time coaches make or break their careers in this time. Think about how many times you've heard, " Well, if Pete Carroll has a month to prepare, he can beat any body."

Or, "Urban Meyer is one of best big game coaches in his time."

I firmly believe that the Hawaii Bowl was played between equally talented teams, with UH just having a less experienced coaching staff. I hope this was part of a learning curve for them, but if this turns in to a trend, I'd start calling for heads to roll.

Brian ~ I goin' tell you what Coach Mack sez about all us wannabee coaches. <i>"When you get your own team, then you can do what <b>you</b> want!"</i>

He's reading all these comments and evaluating them I'm sure, but mark my words. It's food for thought, and I'm sure he knows we all have the best intentions.

One other point that might make a difference for the future. Ron Lee needs to be down on the sidelines to guide the offense face to face. Seems like there's miscommunication between the press box and the coaches on the sidelines. Wouldn't it be better to utilize Coach Lee's experience with the players on the sideline?
