The Rainbow Wahine were scheduled to depart Tuscaloosa early this morning for the journey to Oklahoma City, site of the College World Series.

Can you think of a more clutch play than Jenna Rodriguez's two-run homer? The Rainbows had struck out 16 times in 6 2/3 innings, and were down to their last out when Rodriiguez blasted the strut-off homer.

There have been game winning shots in basketball. And, of course, the heroics of Colt Brennan and Dan Kelly to preserve the Warriors' perfect season in 2007. But with so much on the line — nationally televised game against top-ranked team on the road — well, Rodriguez's homer is difficult to top.

Thoughts?
