Scout Bowl

UH's redshirts and developing players today competed in a 25-play scrimmage known as the Scout Bowl.

Offense did well, with Jeremy Higgins, Kevin Spain and Stump Godfrey combining for 11-of-19 passes for 172 yards and two touchdowns. But safety Bubba Poueu-Luna had a big scrimmage, coming up with two interceptions — including one returned 30  yards for a touchdown — and making a sack.

Passing

• Jeremy Higgins — 7 of 10 for 69  yards, one touchdown, one interception.

• Kevin Spain — 3 of 3 for 86  yards, one touchdown.

• Stump Godfrey — 1 of 6 for 17 yards, one interception.

Rushing

• Stump Godfrey — 2-(minus) 9

• Breyden Torres-Keohokapu — 2-31 (27-yard scoring pass from Higgins)
