Arceneaux hired as OCSports analyst

Darnell Arceneaux, a former Saint Louis School head coach and star quarterback, will be the color analyst for OCSports' football telecasts this season.

Arceneaux replaces Darren Hernandez in the booth. The NCAA has restrictions on conversations between college and high school coaches. Last year, OCSports did not interview Greg McMackin during the game. This year, Chow has agreed to a request to answer a couple of questions before going into the locker room at halftime. That arrangement restricts Hernandez, who is Kapolei High's football coach. Arceneaux is not coaching at any high school or college this season.

Robert Kekaula returns for a second season as play-by-play announcer.

In case you were wondering,  former Warriors Royce Pollard (J-E-T-S, Jets! Jets! Jets!), Aaron Brown (Rams) and Vaughn Meatoga  (Raiders) will earn $5,700 a week as practice-squad players.

If they last the entire season, which is 17 weeks, they will earn $96,900.
