SALT LAKE CITY — It will be back to the proverbial drawing board when the Warriors resume practicing on Monday.
It should be interesting to see who will be available for practice.
X-rays were negative on the necks of defensive tackles Geordon Hanohano and Siasau Matagiese, but that doesn't mean they wont miss some time. It appears Matagiese has a better prognosis.
Additional tests will be done on d-lineman Marcus Malepeai's knee, which is apparently sprained. Malepeai, a defensive end, moved to tackle after the injuries.
Right guard Dave Lefotu's right arm was in a sling after last night's game. He's scheduled to undergo more tests today in Honolulu.
And right tackle Sean Shigematsu exited with an undisclosed ailment.
Beau Yap did well at defensive tackle, but the move deprives the Warriors of their best edge rusher.
Kody Afusia went back to the offense last week. Maybe he will do a U-turn.
Mike Andrade, who did not make the trip while recovering from a variety of ailments, probably will be promoted into the rotation on the defensive line.
It should be another hectic week. The Warriors return to Honolulu today, but will be back on the road for next Saturday's game against San Diego State.
