Warriors land speedy back

January 13th, 2013

The Warriors' recruiting class just got faster.

Diocemy Sainte Juste, a running back from Santaluces High in Florida, told the Warrior Beat he has accepted a football scholarship from the Warriors.

Despite missing four games because of a hip pointer, Sainte Juste rushed for 1,243 yards and 15 touchdowns.

He is fast. Very fast.

His interview will be in tomorrow's paper.

The Warriors are expected to seek a pay increase for the offensive coordinator's job that was vacated when Tommy Lee retired.

Lee made an estimated $130,000 annually on a standard one-year contract.

Tomorrow is the first day the position may be filled. But the salary probably will have to be sweetened to land an experienced coach.
