Cayman Shutter took a significant step toward  a pro career when he participated in this weekend's CFL combine in Toronto.

By participating in the combine, Shutter forfeits his amateur status and ensures the expected:  He won't be returning to UH for the 2013 season.

Shutter has the arm, football IQ and overall IQ, and Canadian citizenship to boost his stock for the upcoming CFL draft.

Here are Shutter's combine results:

Bench press: 16 reps of 225 pounds

Vertical jump: 33.5 inches

Broad jump: 9-5.5
