It will be a camp within a camp when the Rainbow Warriors relocate this afternoon to Joint Base Pearl Harbor/Hickam.
The Warriors practice this morning on campus, then pack for the base, where they will train through Tuesday.
It should be a nice break for the Warriors, who were stationed in UH's dance studios the past two weeks. When they return to the Manoa campus, they will be allowed to check into the dorms or move back into off-campus apartments.

The competition should accelerate on base as the Warriors finalize the depth chart. Once they return to campus next week, the Warriors will focus exclusively on preparing for USC. The next week could see a late push to alter what is now the No. 1 offensive line of left tackle Sean Shigematsu, left guard Mike Milovale, center Ben Clarke, right guard Kody Afusia and right tackle Frank Loyd Jr.
Running back Diocemy Saint Juste, who is recovering from a hamstring injury, should be at full speed in the coming days. X receiver Vasquez Haynes has worn the yellow jersey in practices because of the shoulder ailment, but he also should be ready for full-contact work in the next few days.

Was it mentioned former UH recruit Ronald Fields is at Texas A&M-Commerce?
Was it mentioned former UH receiver Chinedu Amadi is keeping his Promise? Recruited as Promise Amadi, he wanted to be called his given first name, Chinedu, while a Warrior. Now he is back to Promise as a Boise State walk-on. Fair's fair. After all, his former team changed its nickname.
