Quarterback Sean Schroeder, like his former football team, absorbed a lot of hits the past two years. But Schroeder, who completed work on his master's degree and his NCAA eligibility this past November, predicts a hopeful future for the Rainbow Warriors. The other day, Schroeder said this:
"The (2013) seniors take pride in laying the groundwork for the younger guys for next year. I know coach Chow has the program moving in the right direction. I know that for a fact. I've had the opportunity to be at multiple programs. I was at Duke, and we struggled during my early years there, too. But if you stick to the course, if you stick to the plan, good things happen. I think coach Chow has the program moving in the right direction. It might be tough to end with a 1-11 season. But from a guy being behind the scenes and being there every day, I know he has the program moving in a positive direction. I think that's definitely going to equate to a lot of wins in the future."
