The Warrior Beat

Chilly reminder

January 28th, 2014

AccuWeather predicts a high of 36 degrees for Sunday's Super Bowl. If so, each ticket holder, according to ESPN, will receive a "warming packet" of hand warmers, gloves that allow users to text, and headphones to listen to the game.

Two months ago, it was 25 degrees at kickoff for the Hawaii-Wyoming game in Laramie. There was no warming packet, but plenty of scoring — a combined 115 points.

Just sayin' …

"I'm going to play for Hawaii," Josey told the Warrior Beat.

For those keeping track, it will be a high of 29 degrees in Syracuse on Super Sunday. Boynton Beach's high will 79 degrees on Sunday.
