    Go warriors!

  2. cheepono:

BRS is really not gonna participate in pro day? I thought he was training in NY.

    What about Iuta Tepa?

  11. BigWave96744:

Do you know if Jordan Pu'u Robinson, Kawika Borden and Kawehi Sablan got an additional year to play? All were listed as Seniors in 2013.

    Manoa Mist,

You drop an accusation yesterday with no facts. I'm not the only one to poo poo your remarks. Give details or go away..

Hey partner read Dave Reardon's column today. If you want to discuss this in person I'm available to meet. Anytime.

  13. PONO:

Manoa Mist I'm in cali but would like to hear the inside scoops. Do you correspond by phone or email, no can make it in person.

  14. Stephen Tsai:

Art Laurel is recovering from an injury. He will sit it out this year and try next year.

  15. Stephen Tsai:

    Big Wave:
Tepa is not on the list.

  16. Stephen Tsai:

    > Jordan Pu‘u-Robinson will be back for a senior season.
    > Borden is back, but I'm not sure if he's going to be participating in contact drills in spring ball. I think he's recovering from an injury.
    > Sablan should have another year, but I'm not certain if he's back.

  17. Luki:

    Thank you Stephen

  19. boya_jr:

replace "losers" with the word "players" and I'll respect your opinion.

  20. SteveM:

    Good morning everyone!

Best wishes and good luck to the Pro Day participants and BRS and Matagiese!
Mahalo for representing Hawaii on the field!

  21. BigWave96744:

    Thank You Stephen...

  22. Shoko:

Good luck to Stutz and Saui and the rest of the players during Pro Day.

  23. Stephen Tsai:

The way I figure it, you take a shot. If you do well at pro day and you get someone's attention, maybe you end up in someone's camp.
If not, you can use the degree and get a job. At least there's peace. You don't want to be the guy in Bruce Springsteen's "Glory Days."

  24. honest truth:

the thing is, manoa mist, you do quite a bit of trash talking. you shouldn't be surprised when people are generally tired of your negative attitude.

  25. Inyoface:

If BRS was 100 percent healthy last season, he would've done pretty good I think.

  26. jimmy the lock:

Good luck to those who want to further their passion for playing football and to those who will venture into the real world.

I read DR's article and didn't see where the feds are involved. Is it because the player in question is from Canada? Let's see how hard the NCAA can slap.

  27. Shoko:

I'm not sure what to make of the Akana situation. At first I thought it had something to do with a the recruits temporary visa, and that mistakes were made on the documents by both sponsor and the recruit that caused immigration officials to make an inquiry. If mistakes were made, I would find it hard to believe there was any maliciousness involved.

  28. jimmy the lock:

Unless what was inserted in the document was used to circumvent time consuming paperwork and approvals...I don't know, just adding to the movie trailer.

  29. NYUHTX:

Glad to see the role models stepping up. If its your dream to go to the NFL, go for it. Otherwise move on to other opportunities life affords.

  30. BigWave96744:

Oklahoma QB, Kendal Thompson, announced he will transfer to Utah at the end of this semester.

USF QB, Matt Floyd, is the latest of QBs to graduate in May and be a free agent with 2 to play 2

  31. cocobean:

I've been to all the home BB games but can't recall the last time Jankovic got into a game. This may give some credence that the violation involves his recruitment.

  32. Shoko:

That would be that Missouri transfer, Stefan Jankovic, that's not eligible to play until next year as he would have to sit out the first half of the season.

  33. Shoko:

Meant to say Jankovic would have to sit out the first half of next season.

  34. ai-eee-soos:

Boise St. football coaches payroll: read em, and ....

  35. ai-eee-soos:

anyone you know looking for a def back coaching job?

Idaho: Sources tell us Idaho is looking for "best fit" to fill the open defensive position (doesn't necessarily have to be corners).

  36. Shoko:

Things might be getting stranger for Adam Muema. He seems to be missing in action and has not been heard from since he left the Combine on Sunday, except for a tweet he left prior to boarding a flight to Florida where he was planned to train. Hope the kid is alright.

  37. NotNasti:

    31. Coco: Stefan Jovanovic and Stefan Jankovic are two different cats. Jovanovic is on the active roster, and Jankovic is the Missouri Transfer who will not be eligible until Jan 2015. Jovanovic was employed in the Hack-a-Dou game plan at Irvine. Waiting for the day that they are both on the court at the same time.

  38. cocobean:

#37. Thanks for the clarification. I was worried we would have forfeit any games he played in.

  39. bowwar:

The Akana situation is still being investigated...No sense in speculating unless you've got absolute facts. If it does lead to Akana leaving the program, it will be a loss to the University.

  40. jeezy33:

If Akana goes, Gib must go....
    1. Akana most likely didn't act on his own if he did anything involving documents.
    2. If Akana did something that bad under Gibs watch, then he should be gone too. HC need to lead.

  41. PONO:

If Akana leaves it will be a blow to the program but I would be more worried about Fotu possibly leaving too for the pros since it has been stated that he is very close to Akana.

  42. JustAsking:

Many thanks to all departing seniors. BRS was the type of player who simply performed on the field. Not the fastest, not the biggest, but made the plays. Best wishes to him.

  43. A-House:

Que sera sera, whatever will be will be
the future is not mine to see, Que sera sera

now that I'm old and gray, I see what I see
the past is held in glory, Que sera sera

  44. bowwar:

#40: I don't think that will happen unless Gib is complicent...Assistants have done things in the past without a head coaches' knowledge, so it will depend on the severity. As you've indicated, the "buck stops" at the HC, so Gib will have to shoulder some blame (which will be handled internally between BJ and him) no matter what the case should be. If the offense is as severe as what happened at USC, (where Gib was previously) you can expect the HQ to be gone too...

  45. d1shima:

    Great Afternoon All!

Best wishes for the future to all the Warriors!

speculation...speculation...speculation....just like location...location...location...n seems to me from what little facts that i see so just a precaution to not playing a student...or fetting a coach off the bench..or he is not around for a pic...maybe he had a dentist appointment..n canm't believe all you read in the papers...double 4 that.. what u read on here...certain to play god with the pen...maybe he going ask for raise soon.. so need to get sum "scoops" to justify him asking..or maybe his payment on his boat is due soon.. who knows...i guess is "nothing" n could be classified as trash talk....

  47. NorthShoreFan:

me thinks the only facts in this situation is...he not with the team right now...Gib says it's minor...

speculation is...if it is minor, then why so looooong?

  48. gobows:

    re: akana

heard it got something to do with shipping, fedex is involved.

  49. gobows:

uhad said it was a "serious personnel matter", that was an upgrade from just a personnel matter.

  50. st. anthony trojan:

northshore.... he he he..u 4 got..this is uh...they have a zoo there.. but no one knows who in key for visiting team locker room.. no key for ching field.. oops ching field building process.. check back in a few years.. maybe pau...then.. was a so called concert..oops getting old here forget the name that one...these are big events that have to be taken care off post haste.. this take so loooooong cuz it is nothing..he he he nothing always take the ZOO...

  51. Warrior Dave:

    #12 Manoa Mist,

Sounds like you now calling me out to beef or something? I've read Dave's column, Ferd's and Brian's story. So far it's all speculation as no one is stating any facts. How can the Feds be involved with the foreign student documentation since he was a transfer from Missouri??? Should all Of that be over and done with?

I'm going to keep my mouth shut and comments to myself on this matter until it all comes out. You keep doing what you want to do and I don't want to meet you and talk about it. I don't know what your mental capacity is and I don't want to take a chance that you might go off. Thanks for the offer.

  52. honest truth:

WD, you are a classy and reasonable guy. you certainly don't need to explain anything to a troll who seems hell bent to bring down something we all hold dear. UH Athletics. most people on here would agree 100% with you.

manoa mist, you want credibility? then stop crying wolf. constantly bashing UH Athletics doesn't give you credibility. and calling people out is low class. grow up.

  53. NorthShoreFan:

#50...he...he...he...u got it...and me Wonder who dat concert guy was???

no foget da sand volleyball box and softball stadium...too high or too low???

    anyhoo, I stay all confuse....

  54. RB:

Sounds like a Nick Saban rule LOL

  55. st. anthony trojan:

  60. Stephen Tsai:

By the way, you can't get "false cracked" if you know in advance. I think it's just cracked.

  61. st. anthony trojan:

yea.. our leader is so right.. unless you live here in PI.. then different... so many beatings n killings...makes one get dizzy...they "beef" here with 45's...he he he..this blog should be for the civil.. but is ok to make comments about the "zoo" there... cuz us old dudes.. are not pernicious.. (maybe our farts are 4 some) we just slightly suffer from alzheimers at the appropriate time...he he.. maybe selective way...hang loose here.. lets be cool...

What is implied by "adding something to an official document?"

What would be added? Are we talking money? Not trying to presume anything, but I am just clueless as to what would be "added."

  65. st. anthony trojan:

me thinks sum type of changing date of birth etc..if you do that to a 10 dollar bill n try make forgery..n changing say on passport ...or release from another college etc... but could be nothing..if when it was originally typed.. the union clerk made an error.. n tried to correct..but have to do so officially..other wise could be criminal.. depends on intent i guess.. maybe mr. tommy mui canm explain better ??

  66. kev-1:

Oh, oh I get it. So altering a document in some manner.

  67. kev-1:

Guess my mind was somewhere else.

  68. st. anthony trojan:

so kev-1...let ur mind wander.. about what could be added...n if was critical to that document.. say like gardes etc... me remember a 8th grade student at intermediate school.. did not like his report made his own...he he he.. he got caught eventually.. but was not hard to do.. just scan old one.. make a few grade changes.. n print.. n done.. cuz report cards was not signed.... not ne such thing in the case here... just an example of what kids can do these days with computer...

  69. st. anthony trojan:

is just my guess kev-1.. not sure.. maybe sum lawyer type can give you insigt with their post..

  70. Boolakanaka:

ST, it thus begs the question, what part of the false-crack is actually faux? Last time I got false-cracked, it was very real....

  71. tommui:

#65 - Hard to make any kind of judgment without knowing what the facts are.

On the other hand, there are some here that make judgments anyway.

  72. st. anthony trojan:

thanks tm.. was just not sure what kev was saying by "adding something to an official document?"
maybe you had a few cases like that before.. n the explanation of what it means ??

  73. kev-1:

Not judging yet either. Just curious is all.

  74. Bows4life:

    Godspeed Art!
